Lv2 Business Improvement

What is a Level 2 Business Improvement Techniques apprenticeship?

A Business Improvement Techniques apprenticeship is a work based qualification that is nationally recognised by employers and educational providers. This qualification will give you the skills and knowledge to help make your business more successful.

How long does it last?

The qualification usually spans 12 months as a minimum.

Will I have to attend education during the apprenticeship?

No this qualification does not require you to attend any other form of education aside from the apprenticeship itself, as it is a work based qualification and can be completed at your place of employment.

What is the wage?

As a minimum your wage will be £3.30 per hour but some employers do chose to pay a higher wage. If you are already employed and your employer agrees to the apprenticeship then your current wage will not be affected in a negative way.

What are the hours?

The hours you will be working are determined by your employer, the guided learning hours are 229 – 351 hours.

Do I have to be employed to be able to go onto an apprenticeship?

Yes it is required for you to be in employment to be eligible to start an apprenticeship. However, if you are not currently employed we will help you find a job that will allow you to complete your apprenticeship.

What will happen after the apprenticeship?

The majority of apprentices go on to full time employment after their apprenticeship has ended, often with the same employer. You may wish to progress to the next level of apprenticeship.

What support will I receive?

You will receive regular visits from your assessor to check on progress and to provide advice and guidance on anything you may be unsure about.

Will I have to take an exam?

No. The qualification is 100% work based and so all of the qualification will be completed through course work and observations done by your assessor.

Lv2 Team Leading

What is a Level 2 Team Leading apprenticeship?

A Team Leading apprenticeship is a work based qualification that is nationally recognised by employers and educational providers. This qualification will give you the skills and knowledge to help you lead your team successfully.
